As someone who has purchased other law school books, I highly recommend this one. I am in the process of selecting schools for this year’s admissions cycle. This book was really helpful because it gives pretty honest reviews from alumni and current students of major law schools. I loved how the book did not seem to censor comments. It gave both the positives and negatives of different aspects of each school. I felt as if I was actually speaking to those past and current students. For example, a school may be ranked in the top 10, but the book may warn that the school is located in a bad area of town or that the social scene is awful. For me, those little extras were extremely helpful in evaluating potential law schools to attend.
The only downside of this book is that it does not feature all law schools. It features mostly Tier 1 schools, which worked well for me but may not work for others. That is why I am giving the book only 4 stars.
